Tahiti – Moorea
Any resemblance to reality it’s not by chance! This article reflects pure reality and it might convince you to ease weight of your bank accounts, take the next plane and just land on this amazing part of the world called Tahiti. Once you land, there is not a chance to worry about what to do there. The story of our friends will convince you of that!
We remember Ziggy, our guide in Moorea, the best guide ever; you could tell that he was in love with his job.
We took a tour with Moana Lagoon Tours, which included swimming with the sharks and stingrays. This is an experience, by the way, that everybody can enjoy at full intensity. We were full of adrenalin and it was real fun at the same time because of Ziggy.
Just imagine the ladies touched by the stingrays, they were screaming and jumping strait in the arms of our guide! And now have in mind the picture: Ziggy with a nice lady in his arms, saying: ”I have the best job in the world”!
But the tour didn’t mean just that; our friends had even cooking and survival lessons:
Ziggy taught us how to serve a “poison cru” or “seviche”.
It’s a raw fish with coconut milk, onion, lemon and some local spices. You just can’t stop eating it. Where did they bring the fresh fish? Well they were fishing while we were swimming with the sharks.
The other thing was how to cut a coconut and they even organized a contest. The fight was between a French guy and one from US. You can see this in pictures. The American won!
Maybe you are wondering what are they doing with so many coconuts? Well, that’s a perfect ingredient for having a beautiful hair, Ziggy said. And here you have a beauty saloon moment, in this picture!
Now, that’s the story I was telling you about…a really nice adventure experienced by our friends: Extraordinary experience, the locals are gorgeous and really friendly people. We think they enjoy what they are doing and feel good surrounded by tourists. The last pictures show the beautiful sunset at Intercontinental Resort & Spa Moorea.
Tahiti is a large and astonishing island in French Polynesia, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Well will get back on this subject again, soon, hoping to convince you that there is always a place to go and just discover with your eyes and mind.
