Strawberries cake with raw sugar or maple syrup
Kids love it!
Strawberries cake with raw sugar or maple syrup for your entire family. Do you feel like your workout is in vain because of the sweets you had? And whenever your kid is asking for something sweet you’re trying to find an excuse. Well, in our days, all we need is adapting to our needs 🙂 that’s what I’ve done with this strawberry cake recipe and what happened you’ll find out here!
Home, 9am; after a long walk with my chocolate lab! The other boys are still sleeping and I decided to surprise them with a nice and tasty cake. I am not that into pastry, but there’s always room for new activities, isn’t it?
What’s in the fridge?
In my kitchen you don’t necessarily find ingredients for cakes, but you might as well be surprised 😉
What you need?
- Butter : 75 g;
- Flour: 175 g;
- Egs: 2;
- 1 spoon of maple syrup or raw sugar;
- Baking powder: 2 teaspoons;
- Milk : 20 ml;
- Strawberries: 150 g.
- Vanilla stick and homemade strawberries jam;
- Your kitchen robot, old or new doesn’t really matter :-);
- Preheat the oven at 180 degrees C;
- Use a snowflake like tray.
Mix the melted butter with the maple syrup or sugar and than add the eggs, milk, flour and the baking powder. Next step is cutting the strawberries into small pieces so you put them into this composition. Pure it in the form and let it in the oven for about 35 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test. When the cake is almost cold sprinkle a bit of vanilla flavored powder sugar and serve it with home made jam. It’s yummy and your boys will love it! I repeated this recipe, but this time with berries or pieces of black chocolate.
