Starting with this month we are going to have a new category on MyTravelStudio. Villa & hotels review will give all our readers an idea when it comes to booking a villa, a boutique hotel, a resort or other hotels. All of you asking us questions about places where we’ve stayed in will find the answers in this section.
The first review is going to be an exclusive private estate on Tortola’s hills, British Virgin Islands.
Astonishing view everywhere you look, on almost four acres of land. Villa Tingalayo is situated in West End, on a tranquil residential area.
Ocean view and infinity pool? Checked! More than two terraces and amazing interior? Checked! I would say designers thought everything in the smallest detail. They took this privileged location and played with it so the result is a successful combination between a tropical destination and a luxury retreat.
For having this view over British Virgin Islands and some of the American ones it was imperative to build the villa on the top so it is going to be a fun drive to get there but totally worth it. We already told you about the curved, steep streets of Tortola. When you get used to those you’ll totally understand that the island offers best material to build a spectacular villa.
Tingalayo has an area of almost four acres with one main building and some small others. It is perfect when you are looking for a 6 bedroom villa where you can go with family and kids or friends. They will also rent it for you even in cases when you want less than 6 bedrooms. You’ll enjoy different views bedrooms, more than one place for breakfast, lunch or dinner and a well-equipped kitchen. Keep in mind that if you’ll be in the mood for a movie you have this beautiful cinema room. About the swimming pool I can tell you that it’s the piece de resistance of the house surrounded by confortable sunbeds where you lay down and savor the view.
People from Tingalayo dealing with guests and everything needed are also very nice. Don’t hesitate to ask in case you need something, even though I don’t think there is going to be anything missing. They even thought about an alternative for the main power grid. Tortola is producing its own energy so from time to time there are going to be power outage but Tingalayo has its own power generator. For more than one week staying you’ll probably need laundry. Checked! Just ask and they will have your clothes washed for you. Some other thing, maybe you feel like taking a pause from day by day cooking at home, they will come with a solution, a local cook.
We saved the best for last! Tingalayo is also the best place to enjoy what nature offers you almost every day in that land. I am talking about rainbows. When you stay at Tingalayo a breathtaking rainbow will become a common thing. So, are you just planning a trip to BVI, check Tingalayo and after you come back share your experience with us.
