Space travel, deep see adventures, exploring the safari, all these kind of travel experiences seemed impossible a while back. Tourism has definitely come a long way, giving you the opportunity to experience every kind of adventure if you have the resources.

This article will show you 5 of the world’s most adventures cruises.  Be careful though, not only that some of these destinations are a little bit dangerous to discover by yourself, you also need to know that the way you get there can be a little tricky.

If you had the opportunity to go on such a trip, we would love it if you share your story and pictures with us. Feel free to use the comments section below.

Let’s begin with Pacaya Samiria, The Amazon.

Cruising on the world’s largest river, by volume, can be pretty exciting. You will have the opportunity to meet and get to know the Riberenos families that live along the banks. You will also be blown away by the wildlife: rare pink dolphins, sloths, monkeys and, of course, the famous piranha.

This trip will cost you 700$/night but it is definitely worth it.

Next we have Antarctica. While some of your friends relax on a beach with a cocktail you can visit and explore Antarctica.

Once arrived home, we’ll see who has a better story. You can find huts left behind by explorers and, if you are really lucky, they’ll still have some frozen 100-year-old kits. The ride there will be a little tricky, icebergs might block your passage, winds that blow up to 200mph, etc. The costs can start from 600$/night.

Island hopping in the Pacific

Your journey will start from Papeete and you will have the chance to see uninhibited islands along your way in the Pacific Ocean, such as: Vostok, Starbuck (no, not Starbucks), and Palmyra Islands. Your trip will come to an end in Western Samoa, after 29 days. By then you will have landed on 10 islands. If not, you can ask for a refund, the cruise costs 1,200$/night, after all.

North Pole icebreaking

This trip is not for everyone, it can get pretty extreme.

You will get abroad the world’s most powerful icebreaker, the Russian nuclear 50. There is not a lot to see on the route, as you can imagine, just powerful turbines that push 25,000 tons of steel through the icepack. You leave from Murmansk, Russia, the trip lasts 2 weeks and costs 2000$/night.

Titanic wreck, Atlantic Ocean

Would have you imagined a few years back you would be able to visit the Titanic wreck?

You can get abroad a submersible for an eight-hour ride down to the ship, 12,500 feet below the surface of the North Atlantic. It’s pretty hard to book this trip, depending on demand and some legal issues, but, if you can do it, it will cost about 5000$/night.
