“If oil is the soul of the engine
And wine is the drink of the Gods…
If grease is the soul of the kitchen
And coffee the drink of the Gods…”
The lyrics belong to Lady Antebellum, a band I like so much and I want to use them for opening my gourmet page. If you listen to the entire song, it’s about much more than this but I want to use the lyrics because they describe a few things I like: wine, kitchen, coffee!
Wine is more than welcomed with the food and coffee for me is like snow for the winter, of course you can be without but not so fun anymore, and there is the smell of the coffee that can make your morning!

Ok, I made a trip once and we called it “the gourmet” trip! In central France, there is a place called “Garden of France” along the Loire River. Vineyards, fruit orchards, asparagus fields, top chefs and a lot and when I say a lot, really lots of chateaux. We picked Le Choiseul in Amboise for two reasons, the location and the cuisine. I already told you, in my previous stories, that I like and prefer Italian cuisine, but I cannot neglect the French one. Every dinner a celebration, we had nothing to complain about. You take a bite and the exclamation is coming uncontrolled. French wine, French cuisine combined with the place makes a 100% fulfilled holiday.
