Now, since we are Romanians, we thought you might like a bonus dish from Romania. This is a very interesting type of food, called Sarmale. Basically, cabbage rolls filled with pork meat and rice. Although the original recipe is with pork meat, that doesn’t mean you can’t make them with any other meat like turkey, chicken or beef. You mix the meat, rice and other ingredients in the cabbage leaf and boil them for about 40 minutes. We can assure you, the smell you will have in the house will be like nothing else.
